For sunny spots and indoor/outdoor use, our outshine line of indoor/outdoor fabrics is made from 100% solution dyed polypropylene yarns (SDPP) with 3,000 hours of built-in UV light resistance properties and are also bleach cleanable with a diluted solution.
Pigments are added to the polymer yarn solution before extrusion, resulting in fibers with color that runs throughout the entire strand. This unique method makes SDPP highly resistant to fading, even when exposed to harsh sunlight, environmental elements, abrasion, and general wear and tear for indoor & outdoor settings where longevity is crucial.
For superior water-based stain repellency, all Regal’s indoor/outdoor fabrics come standard finished with the same PFAS-free performance solution as all PUREformance by Regal Fabrics. In addition, SDPP has hydrophobic properties, meaning it repels water and is resistant to moisture absorption which protects against mold and mildew growth.
