Regal Fabrics creates beautiful woven and printed upholstery fabrics that are designed and copyrighted in the US and manufactured under exclusive agreements with weaving mills across the globe.
Our design studio and operations are based in Middleton, Massachusetts, where our large inventory supplies thousands of furniture and home furnishings manufacturers and fabric distributors.
Regal Fabrics creates wide-ranging, stylish textile designs and constructions including plains, velvets, chenilles, prints, and embroideries produced by our trusted weaving mill partners across North America, Europe, and Asia.
With heavy hearts we share that Herb Kahan, Founder and CEO of Regal Fabrics, Inc., passed away peacefully Tuesday night at the age of 91.
Herb loved nothing more than his family, his work, and the many friends he made through close to 70 years in the fabric business. He was known throughout the industry for his infectious energy and passion, his smile, and his ability to talk about anything with anyone. He treated everyone fairly, dedicating his life and his efforts to doing his job right, creating win-win situations for customers, suppliers, employees, and friends.
